Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is located in Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, China. Covering 4,810 hectares, the Park offers rich natural scenery, including unique vertical rock formations arising from a dense primary forest. In December 1992, it was added to the “World Heritage Site” list, and in 2004 listed as a Global Geopark thanks to its peculiar geological features.
