Waipiʻo Valley is a valley located on the Hāmākua district of the Island of Hawaiʻi. The valley floor is covered in taro fields irrigated by streams from the surrounding mountains, which the Hawaiian people traditionally cultivated. However, the valley is best known for having been the past residence of many early Hawaiian kings.
