Teahupo'o is a popular surfing resort located on the southwest coast of Tahiti in French Polynesia. In stark contrast to its warm weather and natural beauty, terrible and dangerous waves form on the reef from distant groundswells. The best time to enjoy consistent, clean waves is usually during the southern hemisphere’s winter.
