The Schlossplatz is a square in Stuttgart's old town surrounded by historical buildings. The square includes the Old Castle built in the 10th century, now part of a historical museum, the Württemberg State Museum. To the east is the New Palace, or Neues Schloss, built in the 18th century in a baroque style, and to the west is the Königsbau, a massive shopping mall.
