Spanish Steps

The Spanish Steps count up to 135 steps and were initially built to connect the Spanish Embassy and the Trinità dei Monti church in 1723. Aside from being a popular spot for catching a breath after hours of sightseeing in Rome, the landmark is also a perfect place to assist many wonderful events every year. It is often considered the most popular and photographed area in Rome, thanks to its beautiful Roman Baroque-styled architecture and its magnificent surrounding terraces and vistas.
