Built on top of a mountain with little vegetation and a commercially unsuccessful housing site ordered by Eusebi Güell, Antonio Gaudí perfected his personal style here by seeking inspiration through naturalism. Starting from the wish to renew the site with high-quality homes, they imbued their work in symbolism. It is present at different levels in the structures, from political and religious ideals to history, mythology and philosophy.
