Papal Palace Avignon

The Papal Palace of Avignon, built from 1335 to 1352, is one of the most significant medieval Gothic creations in Europe. The massive Papal Palace includes many different landmarks such as the Avignon Bridge, the old ramparts, the artsy painted decor inside, a museum and the picturesque Rhône river nearby.
