The Niederwalddenkmal is a German monument built in the 19th century and located in the town of Rüdesheim am Rhein. The memorial was ordered by Kaiser Wilhelm I and built by sculptor Johannes Schilling and architect Karl Weißbach to commemorate the victory of Prussia and its allies over France in 1870-1871.
