The Las Lajas Shrine is located in the Colombian village of Potosí, some nine kilometers south of the town of Ipiales. It is a sanctuary built over 33 years in the early 20th century in honor of Nuestra Señora de las Lajas (Our Lady of the Rocks). Featuring an impressive church built across a canyon formed by the "Quebrada de El Morro" river, the site is unique in Latin America for its rock formations spanning the nearby landscape.
