Unfinished and then abandoned for years, the Lalbagh Fort is a Mughal complex built in the 17th century by Prince Muhammad Azam. Located in Dhaka, the current capital of Bangladesh, its central area houses three buildings: the Diwan-i-Aam, former residence of the governor; the tomb of Bibi Pari, princess engaged at the time of his death to Prince Azam, and a mosque located west of the fort.
