The Hercules Monument is a famous German landmark located in Kassel. It is a massive structure made of Tuff featuring a bronze statue of the Greek hero Hercules at its top. Built between in 1717 and based on Giovanni Francesco Guerniero's design, the monument also features a unique waterway comprised of many cascades.
