Erected secretly in 1980 by a group of anonymous individuals, the granite monument known as the Georgia Guidestones serves a rather intriguing cause. In fact, written in four ancient and eight modern languages, are ten guidelines supposed to lead humanity in case of a worldwide disaster. Holding a mix of utopist and radical initiatives meant to guide humans through an “Age of Reason”, the stones were made to stand the test of time and even harbor astronomical features.
