Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

Named after the first king of the Kingdom of Italy, this gorgeous shopping mall stands out due to its unique structure. Made of two glass-vaulted arcades covering the streets occupied by the Galleria, the iron-and-glass roof conveys mesmerizing looks. Built between 1865 and 1877 by Giuseppe Mengoni, the shopping mall houses the oldest coffee shop in Milan, Biffi Caffè, as well as luxury retailers and restaurants.
