Faisal Mosque
Meant to resemble a Bedouin tent, the fifth-largest mosque in the world and its four 79 meters high minarets, or Faisal Mosque, is situated at the foothills of Margalla Hills in Pakistan. Its impressive design was submitted during an international contest held by the Pakistani Government and King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. Established in 1986, the mosque became a major religious and touristic site in Pakistan.
