Located in Capas, Philippines, the Capas Death March Monument is a memorial dedicated to soldiers who died during the March of Bataan in April 1942. Stretching for at least 100 km, the march aimed to transfer Filipino and American war soldiers captured by the Japanese military. As a result, thousands of Filipino and American soldiers died.
