Located at the bottom of Mount Arashi, Arashiyama is a historic district located in the Kyoto Prefecture. Admired by tourists, it is home to numerous touristic sites and landmarks. Amongst them are the beautiful Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, the Iwatayama Monkey Park or the Matsunoo-taisha, a shrine home to a spring rumored to be blessed.
