Acropolis of Athens

The Acropolis is a historical site in Athens, Greece. Located on a rocky outcrop rising 150 meters high, it was the center of ancient Athens. The complex dates back to the fifth century B.C. and includes the Propylaea, the Parthenon temple, the Erechtheon, and the temple of Athena Nike. The Acropolis is relatively well preserved and remains a marvelous testimony of Greek classical art and architecture.
