Georgia Aquarium

Located in the town of Atlanta, in the capital state of Georgia in the USA, the Georgia Aquarium, opened in 2005, is the third-largest aquarium in the world welcoming over 2.5 million visitors every year. Being home to more than 100,000 animals from 500 different species, one of its most famous exhibits is the whale shark’s 6.3-million-gallon tank. Taking from 2 to 4 hours to visit, it is one of the most famous destinations in the US for families and children.
