Diamond Head is a Hawaiian crater renowned for its hiking trail, the breathtaking coastal landscape once up the summit and even its military history. This imposing crater took its final shape over 300,000 years ago during its last explosive eruption. When the melting rocks cooled down, they cemented together to form the current crater’s summit.
